Dr. Mohammad El-Ghanem is the Director of the Neuroendovascular Program at Northwest HCA Medical Center. He holds an M.B.B.S. from Jordan University of Science and Technology and advanced training in neuroendovascular surgery, vascular neurology, and healthcare administration. Dr. El-Ghanem completed specialized fellowships at Rutgers University and Hershey Medical Center.
Dr. Ezzeldin holds five medical certifications in Neurology, Neurosonology, Neurocritical care, Interventional neurology, and CNS Endovascular Surgery. He is currently the stroke medical director at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood and has a special interest in Research and evaluating new technology and devices.
Dr. Grigoryan is a US Board-Certified vascular and interventional neurologist. He received his MD degree from Yerevan State Medical University in 1998, after which he moved to United States to pursue a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Subsequently, he completed his Neurology residency training at University of Iowa, a Vascular Neurology fellowship at Stanford University, and 2-year ACGME-accredited Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology fellowship at University of Minnesota. Currently, Dr Grigoryan is the Medical Director of Neurointerventional Program at Adventist Health Glendale Comprehensive Stroke Center and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Neurology at University of Southern California. He has authored and co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and is a member of the American Heart/Stroke Association, American Academy of Neurology, a fellow of the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology, and also serves as a Board Member for the International Society of Interventional Neurology. In 2017 and 2021, Dr Grigoryan was selected as a Top Neurology Physician by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
Dr. Ameer E. Hassan is a triple board-certified neurologist who specializes in Stroke, Neurocritical care and Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology. Dr. Hassan is Head of the Neuroscience Department and a Professor of Neurology and Radiology at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He is the Immediate Past President of the SVIN.
Dr. Jane Khalife is a highly trained neurologist with specialized expertise in vascular and interventional neurology. She completed her medical education at St. George's University of London in the United Kingdom, where she earned both her MD and MS degrees. Dr. Khalife went on to complete her residencies in Internal Medicine and Neurology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, where she honed her skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological disorders. She further pursued advanced fellowship training in Vascular Neurology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY, and in Interventional Neurology at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. She is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology and brings a wealth of knowledge and clinical experience to her practice. Dr. Maxim Mokin, MD, PhD is Associate Professor at the Department of Neurosurgery and Brian Repair, University of South Florida and Vice Chair of Research. He completed his residency in neurology and fellowship training in vascular neurology and endovascular neurosurgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. His research interests include diagnostic evaluation and management of acute ischemic stroke, and development of new technologies for stroke thrombectomy.
Dr. Sheth is originally from Houston, TX and attended Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude with an A.B. in Chemistry and Physics. He received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he was enrolled in the Health Sciences and Technology Program. He graduated magna cum laude and was also awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellowship. He completed his residency in Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco where he served as the chief resident, and fellowships in Vascular Neurology and Interventional Neuroradiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Sheth is currently an Associate Professor of Neurology at UT Health McGovern Medical School. Dr. Sheth has co-authored many studies, which have been published in Cell, Nature Biotechnology, PlosONE, and the Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery. For his research work he has been awarded grants from the American Heart Association (AHA), Society for NeuroInterventional Surgery Foundation, and National Institutes of Health. He has also received numerous honors and awards including the AHA International Stroke Conference Junior Investigator Travel Award, American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Resident Scholarship Award, American Society of Neuroradiology Trainee Award, and the Henry Asbury Christian Award for Excellence in Independent Research from Harvard University.
Finished his Medical School at Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan. Moved to United States for higher education. Completed Neurology Residency at Thomas Jefferson University and Neurosurgery residency at University of Missouri. He completed his Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery Fellowship at University of Missouri as well. Has been in practice at University of Missouri for past 6 years, serving as Associate Professor and Residency Program director for Neurosurgery and Chair of Faculty affair Council.
Dr. Danielle Sorte graduated from the University of New Mexico medical school. She trained in diagnostic radiology at the University of Utah. She completed a fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland and obtained a certificate of added qualification in neuroradiology. She also completed a fellowship in interventional neuroradiology at Johns Hopkins. She worked as a diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologist in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the University. She was first an Assistant and then an Associate Professor of Radiology and Neurosurgery, training residents and fellows. Her past research and clinical interests include kyphoplasty, interventional treatments of bone tumors, stroke, aneurysms, vascular malformations, and interventional spine and pain. She works as a radiologist for Utah Imaging Associates based at several Mountainstar hospitals, primarily St. Mark’s Comprehensive Stroke Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. When she’s not working, she enjoys the outdoors with her family.
Omar Tanweer, M.D. is a neurosurgeon specializing in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases. Dr. Tanweer’s clinical disciplines include open surgical, endovascular and radiosurgical treatment options. His interest in cerebrovascular approaches started while in medical school at the University of Buffalo. He completed his residency and fellowship training at New York University, where he later joined as faculty and led the NYU-LI Cerebrovascular efforts as director. Dr. Tanweer’s practice is now based at Baylor Medicine’s McNair Campus and Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center where he serves as Director of Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery.
Dr. Toth is a Professor of Neurology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. He is the Director of the Neuroendovascular Intervention Fellowship program, serves as the Lead of Endovascular Operations at the Cerebrovascular Center. He is also the local Principal Investigator for several national and international clinical research trials. He has research interest with numerous publications in both hemorrhagic and ischemic neurovascular disease. He currently serves as the Secretary of the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology.
Dr. Zacharatos has co-published several journal articles and book chapters and was the recipient of the Mary Bizal Peterson Research Award and The John R. Gates Award. Haralabos Zacharatos, D.O., is a fellowship trained, board-certified neurologist at the Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. Invested in the advancement of his field, Dr. Zacharatos has co-published several journal articles and book chapters. He has received multiple recognitions for his research, including the Mary Bizal Peterson Research Award and The John R. Gates Award.
