Endorsements

Endorsed Meetings:

Why Should I Have My Meeting Endorsed by SVIN?

The Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN) provides equal opportunity to support its members, their work, and accomplishments. The SVIN Executive Committee is responsible for reviewing any member projects and requests prior to promotion, to ensure they align with the mission and vision of SVIN.

Through official endorsements, SVIN is committed to promoting collaboration among medical specialties and healthcare providers in different parts of the world, who share our values.

To this end, SVIN will endorse medical meetings that are consistent with the goals of the Society and will partner with other medical societies or organizations to support scientific meetings that pertain to vascular and interventional neurology.

How to Have Your Meeting Endorsed by SVIN

The Chair of the scientific program must submit a cover email to the SVIN Executive Committee for review and complete the Meeting Endorsement Request Application here.

  • Name of sponsoring organization
  • Names and affiliations of the program chairs
  • At least one SVIN Member included as Program Chair, Speaker, or Panelist
  • Proposed topics and learning objectives identified
  • List of Invited/confirmed speakers
  • The mission statement, purpose, or function of the organization’s event must be in alignment with SVIN’s mission
  • SVIN will not serve as a financial or CME provider for any endorsed meetings

Upon careful review by the SVIN Executive Committee, the SVIN board will discuss and vote whether to officially endorse the meeting/session.

Endorsement entails the following:

  • Announcement posted on the SVIN endorsed meetings page of the website until the end of the meeting
  • Use of statement “Endorsed By SVIN” with SVIN logo for inclusion in meeting flyers, printed material and promotional messaging
  • Use of statement “Endorsed By SVIN” with SVIN logo on the meeting website home page with a live link to the SVIN website until the end of the meeting/session

Reciprocal Endorsement of Specialty Sessions

SVIN will consider opportunities to jointly endorse specific meeting sessions with other organizations. Typically, this would entail a session of mutual interest in the SVIN annual meeting that is labeled as “endorsed” by another society or organization in exchange for a session devoted to any aspect of vascular and interventional neurology in the partner organization’s meeting that is clearly labeled as “endorsed” by SVIN.

Reciprocal endorsement of specialty sessions may include:

  • Announcement of partner meeting on the SVIN endorsed meetings page
  • Exchange of logos for use in flyers and promotional material

To request consideration of a reciprocal session endorsement, complete this form.
